Coincidentally, I was just having a Skype discussion with one of our researchers earlier tonight and we were discussing our mutual introduction to the Culture War (at least consciously) back in 2016. And as questionable as Yiannopoulos can be, he did do some excellent work during that time, exposing the true violent colours of the far left, the third-wave feminists, Black Lives Matter… and much of the rest.
True, as a professional provocateur, he sets himself up slightly as the villain, sometimes acting like a bell-end as a result, but he did make a positive difference back in the day. If met him today I would certainly shake his hand.
As I say, other antics aside, his 2017 book was a good read at the very least – BrandX.
