INTRODUCTION

This list was put together back in November 2021. We merely identified a few of the corporations and brands that had publicly encroached into that embarrassing territory of identity politics, virtue-signalling and collectivist woke ideology.

Firstly though, we need to define the word ‘woke’, otherwise it is very easy to lose the plot.

Eric Kauffmann, Professor of Politics at Birkbeck College, University of London and Board Member for the Study of Partisanship and Ideology defined this in an April 2021 interview as:

“(the) sacrilisation of historically disadvantaged race, gender and sexual minorities”.

Perhaps even more to the point, we have the below from Andrew Doyles 2025 book ‘THE END OF WOKE: How the Culture War Went Too Far and What to Expect from the Counter-Revolution’:

“Definitions of ‘woke’ are as varied as can be imagined, but it is best understood as a cultural revolution that seeks equity according to group identity by authoritarian means.”

…So we’ll go with that.

Also, the UK based Counterweight organisation produced an informative and quick video (written by Helen Pluckrose) titled ‘On Being Pro-Liberal Before Being Anti-Woke’ here.

Now we aren’t saying that you should boycott these corporations necessarily. That is up to you. And this list was compiled in 2021. Possibly, some may have cleaned their act up a bit. But let’s look at these now in alphabetical order, and in doing so, we can sensibly ask ourselves whether we really live in a ‘systemically racist, homophobic and transphobic etc’ society, as the self described ‘Woke’ tell us we do.

Or, should we instead ask whether we live under the creeping authoritarianism of systemic Woke supremacy. The agents of which, infiltrated and infected our institutions from within.

Are these corporations really as virtue heavy, compassionate and pro-humanitarian as they had depicted? Were they, in classic corporate fasion, just mitigating liability from false accusations of wrongdoing?. Or had they seen the writing on the wall and sought to secure a seat at the table under the new ruling class?.

You decide. With only 122 examples, we  merely began to scratch the surface here.
