So said Fox News host Tucker Carlson last night while reporting on standard MSNBC rhetoric that, admitted the commentator, he didn’t even know about until email respondents alerted him to it. And, boy, what rhetoric it is.
Carlson opened his segment drawing an analogy to a dark event of decades past, saying:
"In July of 1993, a radio station in Kigali, Rwanda, began openly attacking one of the country’s main ethnic groups, the Tutsis. The radio station was called RTLM, but many remember it as simply Hutu Radio because its audience was primarily Hutu. According to Hutu [Radio], Tutsi people were responsible for virtually every bad thing that ever happened in Rwanda. Tutsis had way too much money. They had way too much power. Tutsis were way too privileged. They were greedy. They were bigoted. They were racists. They were dangerous. Everything about Tutsiness was repulsive."
"We begin tonight with Florida," Reid said at the beginning of the show. "Which I would argue, even with Texas existing has emerged as the modern state in this country that comes the closest to a modern-day version of Jim Crow," Reid cried. Continuing to lash out, Reid said: "If there's a state that better exemplifies the rot of MAGA Republican rule than the state of Florida that the governor has named in very Orwellian fashion the free state of Florida, I honestly don't know what it is."

Reality check or just fear mongering? Either way, hope for the best but prepare for the worst. A couple of clichés there, but that aside, definitely start looking into preparing.
We have some unaffiliated books on this subject in our Recommended Reading section here such as The Modern Survival Manual: Surviving the Economic Collapse, by Fernando ‘Ferfal’ Aguirre. He has a pretty good YouTube channel too which makes for good binge watching when in the mood – BrandX.

“To exchange one orthodoxy for another is not necessarily an advance. The enemy is the gramophone mind, whether or not one agrees with the record that is being played at the moment.” – Excerpt from ‘The Freedom of the Press’, by George Orwell (1945).
