Twitter Labels Obituary ‘Misleading’ Because of COVID Claims
Twitter users are slamming the platform after it labeled an obituary “misleading.”
“Jessica Berg Wilson, 37, of Seattle, Wash., passed away unexpectedly Sept. 7, 2021 from COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT) surrounded by her loving family,” the obituary, which was shared on Twitter, reads. “Jessica was an exceptionally healthy and vibrant 37-year-old young mother with no underlying health conditions.”
One user tweeted out the obituary, adding that “[s]he did not want to get vaccinated.”
The tweet was subsequently labeled as “misleading” with Twitter’s COVID-19 warning about COVID-19 “misinformation.”
