Well I suppose if this woke garbage belongs anywhere, the fantasy/fictional realm is one such place. It is just that Star Trek always stood above these to me, given that this was more about sci-fi than fantasy (an example of the latter would be Star Wars or Lord of the Rings). Not the best demonstration of a free speech victory because Kanye West can be mixed bag of fair points and incoherent nonsense, which legitimately reads (albeit, mistakenly) as a call to arms at times. But then again, is this worth banning somebody from the towns square for?
I also understand that his reinstatatement has no actual connection to the Elon Musk story, other than coincidental timing – BrandX.
