I commented on this yesterday and some of the the ridiculousness in the woke social media narrative surrounding this movies release, so I don’t want to repeat myself. But this really isn’t looking good if even the shill critics aren’t impressed. This can’t even be pinned on review bombing. This is the critics score!.
When the ‘Phase 4’ line-up was announced in the Summer of 2019 and it became apparent that the Marvel Cinematic Universe was being repackaged and repurposed as a woke brainwashing project, I decided I was done with these movies, that I had previously enjoyed.
And that was before the movies were actually even made. Indeed, I saw the writing on the wall. And I take no satisfaction in knowing now that my judgement was well-founded, given that we have now had the first three of these Phase 4 movies come out this year now and all of them have evidently been stinkers.
The MCU is now the MCLGBTQU. It is a franchise by activists and for activists. And the employment of Identity Politics doesn’t set the stage for good entertainment.
