Today’s aggregated news behind the news, updated throughout the day.

Storming the beaches of the Culture War, covering the latest Woke Supremacy, Mass Formation Psychosis, Big Brother and other items.

Ben Shapiro put it best:

“Nobody targeting Joe Rogan right now gives two damns about anything he’s said in the past. This is all just an opportunity for activists to destroy a guy who doesn’t carry water for those with institutional power, and whose audience dwarfs their own. It is that simple.”

It’s not really that difficult to understand and see this for what it is here. Hopefully Rogan learns that apologising in these conditions is less than productive – BrandX.

Toby Young is founder of the UK based Free Speech Union and has done some amazing work since it was founded two years ago. I joined early on and definitely recommend joining them if you can. See our Causes to Support page here for a link – BrandX.

VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

“As the Free Speech Union (FSU) marks its 2nd anniversary, founder Toby Young joins Peter Whittle to discuss the FSU’s notable free-speech victories and the general state of free speech in both England & Scotland.

Recent victories, notwithstanding, Toby believes that whilst the FSU is winning free speech battles, the wider war is being lost.

As the founder of The Daily Sceptic, originally “Lockdown Sceptics”, Toby also discusses the past 2 years under Covid and why he feels vindicated.”

Rather a lot of Joe Rogan stories today. Although it is quite worrying seeing him apologising for something that he has no business apologising for, in reality, the below article does remind us of the overriding positivity to his platform and his position.

Even if he occasionally gives the left too much credit, as we saw in his apology video – BrandX.

KEY EXCERPT:

“Not a single one of Rogan’s listeners will abandon him over the smears. They’ve spent hours and hours with the host and know he’s a decent, earnest guy who is genuinely interested in other people’s experiences and their knowledge. He wants to find truth, he wants to learn, and he wants to have fun. That’s it.

His massive audience will follow him wherever he goes. It doesn’t matter if Spotify deplatforms him, which is increasingly looking to be on the horizon.

The host can start his own platform if he wants — or go to a new company that values free speech.”

And just FYI, here is a video clip of another guy, also called Joe, coincidentally using the word that’s none of us are allowed to mutter unless our skin pigmentation is in order – BrandX.

I wasn’t exactly jumping for joy when I originally heard that Dwayne Johnson had offered support to Joe Rogan. Maybe a few years ago it might have meant something, but given his political commentary in 2020, supporting the Biden Presidency, he can go spit, as he’s clearly not a person to trust – BrandX.

I’m not happy seeing him apologise for using language in a harmless context. And it was a harmless context. Despite what the Critical Race Theorists may tell you.

The only ones guilty here are those that edited the video in question and weaponised the word they so despise for their own political ends.

By apologising Joe Rogan is opening the floodgates for more of this game – BrandX.

Make that man President… seriously – BrandX.
