Australia mulls measures making social media giants responsible for defamatory postings
The Australian government is considering a range of measures that would make social media companies more responsible for defamatory material published on their platforms, Communications Minister Paul Fletcher said on Sunday.
“We expect a stronger position from the platforms,” Fletcher said in an interview on the Australian Broadcasting Corp. “For a long time, they’ve been getting away with not taking any responsibility in relation to content published on their sites.”
COMMENTARY ON THE BELOW ARTICLE: Something that concerns me is the equal and opposite reaction from the otherwise ordinary people under the jackboot of the ‘New Normal’ tyranny. There will become a breaking point for many people whom realise that enough is enough, where they see violent reaction as the only means of a response.
We really could see the birth of a new wave of domestic terrorism across the globe if this carries on. All these people that are going to be made persona non grata and fired from jobs for non-compliance with vaccine mandates and so on… Where do you think they are going to go and what do you think they are going to do in response?.
These legitimate grievances will likely manifest all manner of understandable hate fueled reactions on a massive scale, as legitimate injustices (e.g. taking somebody’s ability to put food on their families table) increase.
And this will exacerbate the situation as even more sweeping powers are enforced in aim of tackling terrorism… Problem > Reaction > Solution – BrandX.

Did I really just read that ‘lockdowns and social distancing have led to a drop in immunity’? What can this mean? That they have finally come to their senses about the negative health effects of lockdown, so it will never be repeated? No, I don’t think so.
