Antifa in Seattle called for violence against the March for Freedom rally scheduled on March 26, 2022, in Westlake Plaza. They put up flyers around the former Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) area featuring a rifle and a call to action against the "Nazis." Antif also organized using Twitter, erroneously saying it is a TPUSA event. A representative of TPUSA confirmed the organization is not sponsoring or organizing the conservative event.
Antifa account "AbolishSPD161" wrote, "There is no other choice but violence." "161" is the number for "AFA" or Anti-Fascist Action.
“I just feel that somebody has got to come out and say something,” he said in a Friday evening interview with The Daily Wire, “but we cannot do this argument with hate. We have to do it in a conversational tone, welcoming dialogue, because that’s the only way things are really going to get resolved.”
“It’s going to be too late once you have to pull back,” he warned. “Once you have to take back awards that have been won. Once you have to erase records that have been had. That’s when the pain is really going to settle in for certain people.”
