NBC Out reporter Jo Yurcaba documented how one transgender person in Nashville, Tennessee, felt threatened when flagged by ballot workers because the gender listed on identification documents didn't match the person's current appearance when the person tried to vote in 2016.
“I had to out myself as transgender,” said Henry Seaton, who claimed that admitting to being transgender could be “brutally dangerous, especially where I was living, which is a conservative suburb.”
A number of points here on the Twitter firings, it is of course very sad when people lose jobs. A lot of these people will have families and children that are depending on them.
That said, Twitter is open about its woke supreme culture (to date). And this is a terrible culture, which itself cancels people and sets such Cancel Culture as a precedent throughout broader society. Say something that The New Ruling Class deems verboten, you lose your job.
A terrible precedent. Something has to give.
Another downside (sorry)… Many of these people will be elevated to a perceived martyr status and continue and carry their woke crusade forward once the sackings beginning and the rats scatter back into the woodpile. They will return in their new place of employment, working in your HR department. Something to look forward to – BrandX.

Oh, and all those masked snowflakes who previously raged against the previous management's "draconian" demand to come back to the office, you're out of luck too: Musk intends to reverse the company’s existing work-from-anywhere policy asking what few employees remain to report to offices.

“We are calling on the UK government to update the Equality Act 2010 to make it clear that the protected characteristic of “sex” means biological sex and nothing else.
I have started a petition, and we need 10,000 people to sign this week, and 100,000 by the end of the year.
There is an opportunity to lock in legal clarity now. In May the government made a statement to the houses of Parliament recognising the need for new laws to be clear about the meaning of “sex”. Last week Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he intends to “look to review the Equality Act to make it clear that sex means biological sex rather than gender”.
For everyone’s benefit, sex discrimination laws need to be clear that the terms “sex”, “male”, “female”, “man” and “woman” do not mean “sex as modified by a Gender Recognition Certificate” but biological sex. Our petition sets out a plan for how to do this, and we will be publishing more analysis in the coming weeks.

This accusation came from Wade’s ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, who worries her child is being pressured into switching genders. She recently filed an objection with a judge to keep her child from being able to formally transition before the age of 18.
According to data from the Michigan GOP and Victory Modeling, only around one in five Michiganders fully support woke ideas such as defunding the police, social media censorship, transgender athletes in women’s sports, and Critical Race Theory. Of the nearly 20,000 potential voters surveyed by the party from April through the end of September, nearly 40% stood strongly opposed to woke culture. Another 40% stood in the middle, accepting some woke terminology while opposing other woke ideas.
