President Joe Biden was challenged by a reporter about the fairness of his student debt relief order, and his answer was immediately lambasted by many on social media.
Biden was speaking about the student debt program he ordered Wednesday when a reporter asked him to comment on the challenge that the policy was unfair to those borrowers who worked hard to pay off their loans.
"Is this unfair to people who paid their student loans or chose not to take out loans?" asked Karen Travers of ABC News.
"Is it fair to people who, in fact, do not own multi-billion-dollar businesses if they see one of these guys getting all the tax breaks? Is that fair? What do you think?" Biden responded.

The NAACP lashed out at reports that President Joe Biden will forgive only $10,000 in federal student loan debt, calling the plan a "devastating political mistake" and accusing the president of violating his campaign promises.
In several tweets and a CNN op-ed, NAACP President Derrick Johnson demanded that Biden unilaterally forgive a minimum of $50,000 in student debt. He argued that black Americans hold a disproportionate amount of student debt and that debt forgiveness is a "racial and economic justice issue."
This may seem like an odd story for us to share, possibly unrelated to the Culture War, but it does show that these movies and spin off TV shows are being made primarily by activists, and not so much by people that understand or care about the source material.
It is common for film writers to slip up with regards to continuity, especially in a major franchise, but it seems that this TV series really has ditched any loyalty to the established MCU canon and put more focus on ‘The Message’. This serves as further evidence – BrandX.
