Storming the beaches of the Culture War, covering the latest Woke Supremacy, Mass Formation Psychosis, Big Brother and other items.
When I read actress Jennifer Lawrence said politics was killing people, I thought... that's nice. She's speaking out about how Americans need to focus on what unites us rather than what divides us. Then I saw she means having a different political opinion than HER is killing people, and that she can't even with them anymore.
J-Law (we may still be calling her that) lashed out in Vogue about family members who disagree with her. She tried "so hard" to forgive her father for having a different political opinion. Nevertheless, he persisted to have a different opinion. Sounds like someone is no longer getting leftover Hunger Games merch for the holidays.

Just a heads up, but Amazon also have their teeth into the James Bond franchise going forward now… that should be interesting – BrandX.
The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) has stated it will release its new guidance before the organization’s annual conference in Montreal on Sept. 16.
“Let me assure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure the SOC8 is ready and available online at the start of the 27th WPATH Scientific Symposium in Montreal, Canada,” WPATH president Walter Pierre Bouman wrote on July 28.
Instagram, according to the regulator, violated Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (G.D.P.R.) by having public-by-default accounts for minors.
The G.D.P.R. was enacted in 2018 to limit how Big Tech companies handle user data.
Two years ago, the commission launched an investigation into how Instagram handles the data of users between the ages of 13 and 17. They found that accounts belonging to teenage users from 13 to 17 were set to public by default and those with business accounts were allowed to publicize their email addresses and phone numbers.

UK grooming gangs. A grim subject that many have approached from different angles. Some less qualified to offer insight than others. Nick Buckley MBE here would be one I would strongly suggest is qualified.
I would recommend supporting him on Locals here, as he has some good work both behind and in front of him.
His last book ‘Lessons in Courage: How I Fought Back Against Cancel Culture and Won’ is now available and worth a look. See our Recommended Reading section here – BrandX.
And while I’d never — almost never — celebrate the violent death of a fellow human being, as the wise man once said, “Instant karma’s gonna get you.”
It’s all the rage in Portland for armed mobs to take over the streets while police do nothing.

Well deserved. Top Gun Maverick wasn’t anti-woke. It just wasn’t woke. That’s all we ask. All we want (evidently). No culture war B.S. – Just a focus on entertaining people instead of preaching to them.
And the video footage of Tom Cruise promoting the next Mission Impossible film is mental. What a legend, all scientology stuff aside – BrandX.

“To exchange one orthodoxy for another is not necessarily an advance. The enemy is the gramophone mind, whether or not one agrees with the record that is being played at the moment.” – Excerpt from ‘The Freedom of the Press’, by George Orwell (1945).
