My stance since January has been to completely walk away from social media. I sense that by interacting with my ‘real-world’ friends on there (in any capacity) I am encouraging an intertwining of ourselves and our data with Big Tech. Emboldening it.
Whereas prominent conservatives have called for Big Tech tyranny to be reined in through various forms of legislative action, Senator Rand Paul discussed yet another alternative approach. I’ll throw some of Paul’s quotes here for a quick read before the article (which also breaks this down) – BrandX

COMMENTARY ON THE BELOW ARTICLE: Finally we get to see the interview that was partially leaked and analysed buy Project Veritas a couple of weeks back.
The article here does a good job of covering it well including the pertinent quote from former President Ronald Reagan. Not one of my favourite people, but the quote goes:
“The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”
Definitely valid here. AOC peddling an imagined threat as if it actually came to pass. It might as well be true in the Minds of her followers – BrandX.
AOC told CNN’s Dana Bash in an interview on Monday that not only did she believe she’d be killed, but she feared being raped as well, saying, “White supremacy and patriarchy are very linked in a lot of ways.” Adding, “There’s a lot of sexualizing of that violence and I didn’t think that I was just going to be killed, I thought other things were going to happen to me as well.”
