Tim Allen trolled those he labeled “wokees” as he asked the question that has most likely been on everyone’s mind: “Who is the face of woke?”
“Do wokees have a club house in someone’s backyard or maybe a cute yet safe playpen somewhere?” the 69-year-old actor tweeted on Monday to his hundreds of thousands of followers.
Gender transition for minors would be first-degree child abuse under bill put forward by Michigan state GOP lawmakers
A group of GOP Michigan state representatives has introduced legislation that would make it first-degree child abuse to allow a child to undergo gender transition surgery or take cross-sex hormones or puberty blockers.
This would apply to an individual who "knowingly or intentionally consents to, obtains, or assists with a gender transition procedure for a child," according to the text of the bill. "For purposes of this subdivision only, 'person' means a child's parent or guardian or any other person who cares for, has custody of, has authority over a child regardless of the length of time that a child is cared for, in the custody of, or subject to the authority of that person, or a physician or other licensed medical professional."
‘Gender-affirming’ mastectomies for children soared 389% from 2016 to 2019
In 2016, approximately 100 adolescents underwent "gender-affirming" chest reconstruction surgery, according to a research letter published in JAMA Pediatrics. Only a few years later, the number of children receiving the gender-mutilating operations soared to 489, a 389% increase.
Researchers drew on data reported by the Nationwide Ambulatory Surgery Sample to estimate that 1,130 chest reconstructive surgeries were performed on children from 2016 to 2019.
Study confirms COVID death risk near zero for vast majority
Stanford University medical scientist John Ioannidis has contended for more than two years that data indicate the risk of death from COVID-19 for the vast majority of people is nearly zero, making comprehensive lockdowns, school closures and vaccine mandates unnecessary.
He has argued, along with the creators of the Great Barrington Declaration, that the risk factor for most people is exponentially smaller than for the vulnerable, typically the elderly who already are afflicted with multiple serious illnesses, such as diabetes and heart disease. These people, he has insisted, could be cared for in nursing, assisted living and private homes with early treatments while the healthy are allowed to go about their business.
