Weyant, a freshman at the University of Virginia, finished second to Lia Thomas, a man who identifies as female and takes cross-sex hormones.
According to the university, Weyant finished the race with the third-fastest time in UVA history, as well as her own fastest career time. But Thomas beat her by 1.75 seconds, becoming the first transgender athlete to win a NCAA Division I title and the first man to do so in a women's event.
The Daily Wire's Megan Basham reports that Disney CEO Bob Chapek led a company-wide meeting on Monday in which he apologized again for the company's initial neutrality toward Florida's Parental Rights in Education Bill, which would ban teaching children in kindergarten through third grade about sexual orientation and gender identity.
In response to that one disgruntled Twitter user, Harry’s, which had advertised with The Daily Wire since 2016 and was fully aware of the media company’s conservative editorial stance, condemned the views as “inexcusable” and publicly announced that it was pulling its advertising. At the time, Daily Wire co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy Boreing said that The Daily Wire would not stand for woke, corporate pandering nonsense – and now he’s keeping his word.

VIDEO DESCRIPTION: ‘In this video I talk about why I stack silver and gold. I talk about silver stacking in 2022 and the reason I buy physical silver. I buy silver to use as a savings account and as a wealth preservation tool. I buy gold for the same reasons. Silver and Gold are not a get rich quick scheme. Gold and silver are real money and will retain value no matter what happens to the currency your country uses. Silver stacking is important for all people to do because it will help them retain wealth over a long period of time. I hope to be stacking silver for many years to come. This year I am stacking silver coins and I will be buying more shortly.’
